Fall Picture Retakes will be on November 14th!! 

Q: WHO SHOULD BE PHOTOGRAPHED ON MAKEUP DAY?

A: Anyone who was absent on Fall Picture Day, is new since Fall Picture Day, or wants a retake of their Fall Picture Day photo.

Q: WHAT SHOULD I PREPARE?

1. FOR RETAKES: There may be students that didn't like their original photo from Fall Picture Day. That's ok! They can take a complimentary retake on Makeup Picture Day. We ask that these students (and/or staff) bring their original, unwanted prints to the photographer on Makeup Picture Day. This serves 2 main purposes: 

A. The prints act as an identifier to their teacher that that student needs to be sent down to the photographer. 

B. It lets the photographer see what exactly wasn't liked about the Fall image, to help make the retake image even better. The students will be invited to review their retake image at the camera and can retake it again if needed until they like their retake image. 

For retakes of a Fall photo: families will not need to place a new order - we will produce a complimentary reprint of whatever products they originally purchased but now using the new retake image.

Q: IF SOMEONE WANTING A RETAKE DOESN'T BRING THEIR FALL PRINTS IN ON MAKEUP DAY, WILL THEY NOT BE ABLE TO DO A RETAKE?

A: They will still be allowed to do a retake. No one will be turned away from the camera! But, we do prefer that the original print(s) are returned.


Q: HOW CAN STUDENTS WHO WERE ABSENT ON FALL PICTURE DAY OR ARE NEW SINCE FALL PICTURE DAY BUY PRINTS OR A DOWNLOAD OF THEIR MAKEUP DAY IMAGE?

A: Please see the package of flyers with a QR code on them like the PDF linked here or see the PDFs attached below. This QR code will direct the user to the online order site. Students who were absent on Fall Picture Day and who are new since Fall Picture Day and their families can place an order online from there.
Online orders can be made at our website www.strawbridge.net and the event code to use for this Picture Day is: FM489001Or, if you have leftover Fall Picture Day order forms, a cash or check order can be given in one of those to the photographer on Makeup Picture Day. NOTE: Please be aware that there is an online order code pre-printed on the bottom left of the Fall Picture Day order forms (code "FM489000") and that code should NOT be used for any Makeup Picture Day orders because that code was only for Fall Picture Day orders. There is a new online order code for every new/separate Picture Day.

Q: WILL MAKEUP PICTURE DAY ORDERS SHIP TO THE SCHOOL AGAIN?

A: Yes, similar to Fall Picture Day, we will ship (for free) all retake packages, all new orders placed with an order form turned in to the Makeup Picture Day photographer, and all new online orders placed by 11:59 PM 11/19/2025. This applies to orders of images taken on Makeup Picture Day of students who were absent or are new and does not apply to orders of images taken on your Fall Picture Day, since they are 2 separate events. Any late orders must be made online, will be delayed (i.e. most likely won't arrive before the holidays), will ship to their home instead of to the school, and will be charged a $7 late/ship-to-home fee.

This link will allow parents to sign up to receive email updates about their child's school portraits after picture day. These emails are sent to announce important things like when images are ready for viewing online, when novelty items are available for purchase and when new deals and promotions are being offered. When entering student information, parents should be sure to enter the student's name as it is on file at the school. 

Hello CCS families, 

The Garrett Schenck School is offering an After School Program for Anson/North Anson students in grades 3, 4, and 5. After School Program will be on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. CCS students may ride a bus down to GSS during the afternoon bus run. ALL students must be picked up at Garrett Schenck School. 

Permission slips must be returned to GSS or CCS by October 1st, 2025. This is a firm deadline, and late slips will not be accepted.
